Hog Hunters from Houston area late April 2009

My name is Harold and I recently went on a weekend hog hunt at Haun Ranch and had a blast. Each year all of my buddies do a hog hunt as a tradition and by far this hunt was my personal favorite. We arrived at the Haun Ranch and were immediately accommodated and treated like family. We were given a tour of the property which gave you many different hunting options and opportunities to make a kill. The property was in great shape and ideal for a "Dream Hunt". We arrived at the ranch on April 24th and stayed through April 26th and I have to say that I only slept for 2 hours the whole time. This ranch is so good that I wanted to take in as much as I could and cherish this experience. The hunting conditions on this ranch makes it ideal for the seasoned hunter on down to beginner. In the 3 days we stayed their I encountered all types of wildlife and really got a sense of how great this ranch is. I hunted multiple stands and tripods on the ranch and have to say that I saw hogs every time. Unfortunately do to my lack of attentiveness I was not able to pull the trigger in time to make a kill. Lodging was great with comfortable beds and a full service kitchen. Even though I did not make a kill this hunt was by far my favorite simply because of the service provided and the great condition the ranch was in. This will not be my last time visiting the Haun Ranch.
